User experience (website testing)

MDRG utilizes hands-on technology to test website design and usability. Special software allows our researchers to observe participants’ interactions with a website, including their facial reactions, hand/eye movements, and browsing/navigation.

MDRG uses sophisticated eye-tracking software to capture eye gaze movement as participants view websites. Eye tracking allows our researchers to uncover the images and text that capture the attention of participants, as well as the areas that are over-looked or ignored.

User experience research can explore the usability of a website by answering questions such as:

  • What are participants’ first impressions of the site?
  • How do participants feel about the layout, color scheme, and content?
  • How easy or difficult is it to read text and captions?
  • How clear is the navigation?
  • How easy or difficult is it for users to complete a task? Can they find prices and options easily?

MDRG utilizes user experience research to guide our clients in the design of successful websites.
